Editorial & Publication Policies

1. Peer Review Policy

All research articles submitted to JCMPC undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to maintain clinical accuracy and scientific validity. This means:

  • The reviewer identities are concealed from the authors throughout the review.
  • The author identities and institutional affiliations are concealed from the reviewers.
  • Every manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers in the specific clinical field.

2. Plagiarism & Originality Framework

Originality is a fundamental prerequisite for publication in JCMPC. We enforce strict policies against plagiarism:

Zero Tolerance Policy: All submissions are automatically screened using industry-standard plagiarism detection software (such as iThenticate/Turnitin) prior to peer review. Any manuscript exhibiting textbook plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or text recycling without explicit attribution will be immediately rejected.

3. Open Access & Licensing Matrix

JCMPC is a pure open-access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This allows anyone to share, copy, and adapt the work, provided the original authors are properly credited.

4. Ethical Compliance & COPE Guidelines

The journal strictly adheres to the core principles and guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).

5. APC Policy:

Article Processing Charges (APC)- JCMPC currently charges no article processing fee.Publication is free for all authors.

6. Retraction:

Corrections and Retractions- JCMPC follows COPE guidelines for corrections and retractions. Retractions are issued when findings are unreliable due to error or misconduct

7. Archiving:

Digital Preservation- All published content is archived through PKP Preservation Network and Internet Archive to ensure long-term availability.
